If you suffer from snoring, daytime sleepiness, headaches and chronic fatigue, ask your family Physician about Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA). OSA is a disorder where the airway collapses during sleep and breathing becomes obstructed. Thanks to systems like CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure), BiLevel or Auto Adjusting units, OSA is now treatable. Family 1st Medical's Respiratory Staff instruct patients on the use and maintenance of the equipment their Physician has prescribed. RRT's/RN's help the patient select and fit the most suitable mask, headgear and humidifier. Patients are reassessed after one month by Family 1st and a follow-up report on their treatment is sent to the Physician.
Family 1st Medical offers overnight pulse oximetry and autotitrating CPAP reports which may help physicians diagnose and determine treatment plans.
