 Family 1st Medical is pleased to announce that it has a Certified Accessibility Technicians who can install, maintain and inspect commercial and residential stairway lifts, vertical platform and wheelchair lifts. New Legislation now requires all individuals who services commercial lift products be certified. It also requires that all such commercial devices in Nova Scotia receive maintenance inspections. If your facility or facilities in your charge have lift products, they now need a regular maintenance contract. Our Technical Department would be pleased to offer a competitive quote on the cost of providing these services or installing a new lift.

Details
- The inspection dates are approximate and work will be performed on or about these dates. They include cleaning, inspection and lubrication. * No mileage is charged for your inspection visits.
- Access to the lift must be made available at the scheduled appointment time or an additional charge at current labour rates may be applied for waiting time.
- All emergency and service work required over and above the inspection will be charged on a time and material basis, with payment due upon completion. *Hourly rate for services work performed outside the contract is $60.00 per hour (to include travel time).
- Mileage of .39 per km will be charged on work not covered by the inspection contract.
- Payment of all parts and materials not covered by the original manufacturer's parts warranty are not covered by this contract and shall be the responsibility of the owner at time of replacement.
- Upon completion of this contract a new contract will be required with Family 1st Medical Limited or another company who employ Certified Accessibility Technicians. A Renewal contract will be forwarded automatically, once above inspections are completed.
